SAN
GABRIEL REAL ESTATE
|
|
The San
Gabriel Real Estate Market is influenced by its location and
history. The San
Gabriel Mission was the fourth one established in California.
It lies in the San Gabriel Valley at the foot of the San
Gabriel Mountains. San
Gabriel is the second oldest community in all of California
after San Diego. California's Mission towns are generally a
blend of modern and historic areas and benefit from the
wonderful Southern California climate.

The
Missionaries left a big imprint on California and led to the
eventual permanent displacement of the Indians that lived in the
area. Eventually
and with the help of extensive land grants, ranchers and farmers
assumed prominence in the area and San Gabriel’s real estate
market experienced a boom in the 1940s with a new, suburban
look. By 2000, the
San Gabriel real estate market reflected the overall prosperity
of the state and it is now a community of more than 40,000
people.
