About
an hour’s drive from the
hustle and bustle of downtown
Los Angeles, Glendora real
estate values are enhanced by
the community’s small town
flavor.
The people who live here
value the area’s history and
tradition. People turn out in
high numbers to celebrate annual
festivities such as the
'Flashback to the '50s', and the
Route 66 Mile Run.
As
in much of California’s real
estate history, the town of
Glendora was originally a part
of a land grant. Don Palomares received a 15,000-acre land grant from Governor
Juan Bautista Alvarado in 1837.
Today, the land is
divided into a number of cities
including Claremont, Laverne,
San Dimas and of course,
includes the Glendora real
estate market.
