At
one time, Covina was the agricultural hub of the San Gabriel
Valley, producing and shipping more oranges than anywhere else
in the world. And yet, the name, Covina, is a name devised
from “cove of vineyards,” probably because there were so
many vineyards in the area in the late 1800s. Since World
War II, the Covina real estate market including single family
and multiple family homes have largely replaced the orange
groves and vineyards.

low crime rate and the city’s mixture of historic homes and

Many of the homes in Covina reflect Southern
